NIGHTBLUE THEATER is a professional program committed to bringing you an annual line-up of quality shows featuring multiple disciplines of our talented artists. We intend to continually expand the number and diversity of our productions, and will not hesitate to maturely and professionally present difficult and controversial material that represents the hallmark of award-winning theater. NIGHTBLUE THEATER, based in Lemont, is proud of its cooperative agreement with Lemont Park District and intends to continue to bring quality artistic shows to Lemont on a regular basis. However, NIGHTBLUE THEATER, as an independent entity, also is committed to showcasing its talent in many different venues. For example, in January 2006, NIGHTBLUE THEATER fulfilled both of these goals, as it presented the first full-length adult musical ever done in Lemont - Cabaret. This show also became the first full-length musical that we are aware of that traveled to three different locations, showcasing at the Odyssey Country Club in Tinley Park, and the Sabre Room in Hickory Hills, in addition to Lemont Park District. Cabaret, as with much of our work, did not hesitate to present to you difficult topics that have faced us in the past and continue to face our society on a daily basis even today. Here at NIGHTBLUE THEATER, we are committed to including all aspects of artistic talent in our shows - dance, singing, acting, music, and comedy. We also seek people of all disciplines and experience in the arts to help us out with our productions. NIGHTBLUE THEATER will not be your average theater experience in Lemont either. We intend to bring this program to you and involve the Lemont community in its productions as much as possible. It is our goal to share our talent with you in different settings, including things like theater in the Park, and original play night.
